NICEIC Electrical Engineers
The office is based in Gloucestershire but our engineers are located throughout the UK and we are able to offer nationwide coverage. We currently employ eight service engineers who are NICEIC electrical engineers and mates, two installation teams and four permanent office staff.
We have twelve easily identifiable vehicles that are fully kitted out to ensure we are ready to start our works on arrival to site. Each vehicle is equipped with approximately 90% of replacement radiant and warm air heater components to enable us to rectify the majority of faults and thereby eliminate costly revisits, together with a combination of platform towers (to 26’) and combi-ladders. The installation vehicles are fully equipped to enable works to be commenced on arrival to site, including the addition of our own scissor lifts (max 26’), double platform towers, screwing machines, etc. All are contactable via mobile telephone.
Professional Engineers
Arnold Building Services, now known as A.B.S was established in 1978 primarily to service and commission the radiant heaters manufactured by Phoenix Burners, the products at that time were the NOR-RAY-VAC liner, U Tube and Plaque heaters. The installation division of the company was formed in 1986 when following discussions with several manufacturers and main contractors, it was apparent there was a niche within the industry for a dedicated company to install their products.
Although some of these manufacturers are no longer here, we are now recommended to carry out the same works by Messrs Ambi-Rad, Space-Ray, Systema Spa, Benson Heating, Powrmatic, Reznor and Winterwarm and our obvious product knowledge is a great advantage to any end client who wants a professional installation first time.
Gas Servicing Engineers
Our gas servicing engineers have installed & serviced many heating systems for all of our clients which include gas fired radiant tubes & oil fired radiant tubes and free standing warm air units. With our extensive experience of installing heating systems we also offer a professional design service so that our customers can get the most effective heating installed in their premises. We currently maintain sites throughout the UK including the Channel Islands and Ireland and our varied clients include BMW, Corus, JJB Sports and Leisure Clubs, Aspire Defence, Bosch Rexroth, Messier Dowty, UPS, Flybe, Gulfstream, Scottish TA centres, HM Prisons and various Councils.
